Never belive what other people want you to believe

For everyone that is trying to do something good you can guarantee there are a horde of people who are unable to be good and therefore do something far easier - be bad.

It is easier to destroy than construct, it is easier to criticise than do, it is easier to harm than heal.

It takes years to bring life into the world, to nurture, to grow to educate and ultimately for those people to give back in a positive way to society.  However some have such a low value to life they can kill in an instance.

The point of this post?  If you truly believe what you are doing is right, you are adhering to laws and you live within a positive environment there will be loads of people who would destroy what you have because they are unable to achieve anything good for themselves.  Sure there are those who find themselves in situations where they fall outside of many things we take for granted but not as many as would claim.

If you know all this then you will never be influenced by these destructive people.

I have seen so much rubbish in the papers and on the radio in recent months about society being unfair, people not being responsible for their own actions etc.  As I parent I am responsible for how my children turn out and behave, just as I am responsible for my own actions.  I do not expect society to keep me restrained with countless rules that ultimately take away my right to think for myself.

Those who write hateful comments or try and proliferate lies have every right to do so for all the above reasons.  Equally they are the lowest form of life as they have taken all the easy and negative choices in life.  I would be ashamed to be their parents or them.

  1. Welcome to the internet. There are many kinds of people and it's easy for them to join up and do things like this.

For instance there's a group of people who enjoy doing pranks and amusing themselves with little games that take advantage of people who aren't expecting it. Posting RIP comments on YouTube videos is just one of their little games - a cheap action they can take to have an amusing effect. When you know they do these things you learn to ignore it when you see it. Did it really distress anyone in your family, or are you just concerned that visitors to your channel will take it seriously?

At the end of the day, comments on a YouTube video are open to all, and as with any such thing on the internet you can expect this sort of phenomenon as par for the course. It's just a childish game. If you don't find it amusing just ignore it, unless it is actually causing distress (apart from to random people who don't know the boys personally and are just taking YouTube comments too seriously).

  2. I am sure you meant well by your post. However 'Welcome to the Internet' is such a ridiculous phrase and far over used. Anything and everything is what we make of it and just because something is 'The Internet' does not make something that is not acceptable somewhere acceptable which is always what people mean. I hear what you say but you have misconstrued my post. I was as much talking about the morals and education of individuals as anything else. We all make choices. It is a shame than so many choose to go a certain direction or probably more correctly fail to choose a better path.

  3. Thanks for your respectful reply. Maybe you're right about the internet being what we make of it. I'm just used to behaviour like this, sometimes it's purile and inconsequential, but it's not malicious. It's just a gag. I wouldn't say they were immoral (you may disagree), and certainly not uneducated. Probably most of them were college or university students. I wouldn't take it so seriously, is all. Unless you had specific reason to, because of some consequence besides confusing other commenters.

Anyway, that's just what I think, but I'm just a random stranger, and I may be wrong too.

  4. I am sorry for the anguish and annoyance. No one likes anyone to be successful anymore. I'm a Dad of a 3 year old girl and I weep for her future to be sure. I will teach her what right & wrong and morals are.

    Be well!

  5. There are many wise guys in this world and 'we' cannot fix them. It would be wonderful if every child born on this planet could have perfect parenting and lead perfect lives. Too many obsticles... and besides there is only One perfect place. My place! I certainly wish.

Anyways, each one of us could learn from Harry, Charlie, Jasper and I feel certain from Rupert. They are very happy children. I hope as they grow into adults they each make sure to bring that happy child along with them. Myself, I have yet to meet 3 brothers
who have SO much fun together. And the love they have for each other be so evident.

My best to all 6 of you. Stay happy =-)

  7. I love your writing. I'm totally on same opinion, and I don't like people who always say bad things about everything, but they never want to pay attention to anything or at least just give some understanding. I wish we can live in peace without any hatre or negative thinking. World is too beautiful for such a thing!
I really like your personality, your wife personality, and the sons. I love them, and really have big desire to meet them, and give a tight huuuuug >,<.. Please say my hello to them. :)

  9. Shut up. Seriously. Just because Charlie bit me got popular, doesn't make you an important person. Sure, you can be a role model ALL you want, just don't let the media take your soul. Oops, it's already too late. You're diluted with thoughts thinking that because your one video got viral that you HAD to do what everyone else does.
I despise people like you, ones who think it's okay to take what's given all the time. If I were you, I would have ignored all the media. I would have kept living my life with my family normally, as if nothing happened.
